Darin Anderson, our team leader, was born and raised in an EFCA Church in the Chicago area and has served five Free Churches in various roles in Chicago, Charlotte, Louisville and now Tampa. Chi Eng Yuan is a retired EFCA pastor. He and his wife Kar-Shan have served the Lord in pastoral ministry in Hong Kong and the USA throughout their adult lives. They were appointed by Association of North American Chinese Evangelical Free Churches (ANACEFC) to be liaison persons between ANACEFC and Evangelical Free Church of America(EFCA). Tammy Medders started in local church ministry in 1995 and has served in numerous areas of church ministry over the years. She has worked at New City Church in Charlotte, NC for the last 13 years and is currently Director of Adult Ministries.She is passionate about helping women in the EFCA develop their leadership skills and gifting for service to the local church. Kerry Doyal is the Superintendent for the Allegheny District. Previously, Kerry and his wife, Robin, served EFCA churches in Brooklyn, NY; Waukegan and Round Lake, IL; Kingsport, TN; and Sarver, PA. He has a heart for cross-cultural ministry, having traveled to and ministered in India, Mexico, Costa Rica, Haiti, Peru, and Italy. The Doyals live north of Pittsburgh and have five adult children. Bob Burris is a retired EFCA pastor who is active in his home church, Christ Community Church in Laguna Hills, CA – EFCA. He and his wife, Vickie, teach the preschool class every Sunday. Bob is currently a full-time international trainer with Training Leaders International and uses his experience as a pastor and his training at BIOLA, Talbot, and Westminster, to train those who would otherwise have no access to theological education. John Mochel is serving the Brooklyn EFC in Beresford, SD. where he has been since 1998. He has served previously with Campus Crusade for Christ and the EFCA Mission. He has an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, is an advocate of biblical exposition, and over the past 12 years he has been a regular group leader at Simeon Trust workshops. He is a participant in the ministry of EFCA Reach Global Pathways, training pastors in India and Haiti, assists with credentialing pastors, and loves being involved in the Central District of the EFCA. Paulo Freire has been shepherding the congregation at Hope Church in New Jersey since 1998. He is a native of São Paulo, Brazil. As a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute, Paulo brings a love for the study and application of the Word of God into the pulpit with him. He lives in Wantage with his wife Lisa. Paulo and Lisa have three sons and one grandchild. Paulo chairs the Eastern District Credentialing Board and serves on the National Board of Ministerial Standing.
