Matt Mitchell, our team leader, has been shepherding Lanse EFC in PA since 1998. He is a native of north-central Ohio and a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and the Westminster Theological Seminary. He graduated from WTS in 2012 with his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling. Pastor Matt’s passion is glorifying God by bringing people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ through preaching the Word of God, shepherding the flock of God, and equipping the saints of God to do the work of the ministry.

Samantha Frykholm is the women’s ministry director for her church in Story City, Iowa, alongside her husband, Steve, who pastors the church. Contact her at samanthafrykholm@gmail.com. Samantha’s trajectory of life changed through the disciple-making ministry of CRU so she joined their staff upon college graduation.  She thought she would serve with them for decades, but her life took another turn when the Lord moved her to take her heart for training in disciple-making to the local church.

As a result, she was led to Trinity Evangelical Divinity school where she met her husband on his path to become a pastor.  They have served together since and with their ministry at Harvest E Free in Iowa, where they love raising their two teenage daughters. Samantha’s heartbeat is to see women finding their joy in Jesus and living in intentional relationships empowered by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to bring the Gospel across the nations and across the street.
